HoodFireWorks Music Group

HoodFireWorks was founded in 2004 by Darnell Medlock. The company was originated in Brooklyn, New York. In 2005 the first artists on the label was a group called "B-T-R-T" This acronym stood for Born Together Ride Together. The members of the group were M Dot, Mello, Willo, and Cha Ching. Soon after the release of their mixtape "It's Looking Ugly" the group split up as a strategic move for the good of the company. M Dot and Cha Ching went on to take on the jobs of CEO and Co-CEO, while Mello and Willo formed as a duo group called 2Times. In 2007 they released a CD HoodFireworks Vol1. The CD caught the eyes of international DJ's in Asia. Rappers Brim and Fhayze joined the team in 2008 and HoodFireworks released a compilation CD hosted by Third Gate Dj's from South Korea. It was executively produced by Q Dot Harris and Jeff aka Dolo. Brim and Fhayze were introduced to the game overseas by performing at clubs and bars while 2Times did the same in New York City. Cashus is the latest addition to the HoodFireWorks family.  We averaged over 35,000 sales per quarter independently in 2007-2008!
